Poly-MVA TherapyWhen we think of cancer treatments, we often think of having to take certain drugs.
Chemotherapy. Targeted therapy. Immunotherapies. All kinds of biological agents can be
administered into the body with the goal of destroying cancer cells or shrinking tumors. Along
with surgery, drugs are the most common form of cancer treatment.
Unfortunately, many of these therapies come with their own benefits and drawbacks, such as
severe side effects. Some treatments, such as chemo, are notorious for losing their
effectiveness, as cancer cells start to resist chemotherapy over time. When this happens,
people need new options.
That’s why researchers are constantly searching for new drugs that can work more effectively
while reducing the number and severity of side effects. One of these options is Poly-MVA
intravenous therapy. Keep reading to learn more!

What is Poly-MVA?

What is Poly-MVA?
Poly MVA, or Lipoic Acid Mineral Complex, stands for POLYmer of Minerals, Vitamins, and
Amino acids. Among the different components of Poly-MVA are antioxidants and other powerful
nutrients that play an important role in producing energy in the body’s cells.
Poly-MVA is produced by attaching palladium (a mineral) to lipoic acid. This makes it highlysoluble in fat and in water, making it easy for it to pass through the body and even cross theblood-brain barrier.

In addition to palladium, Poly-MVA contains several additional ingredients. These usually
include the following:

  • Vitamin B1
  • Vitamin B2
  • Vitamin B12
  • Molybdenum
  • Rhodium
  • Ruthenium
  • Formyl-methionine (a type of amino acid)

How does Poly-MVA work?

Poly-MVA specifically targets the workings of the mitochondria.
If you remember from your formative schooling years, the mitochondria is the “powerhouse” of
the cell, which means it is responsible for producing the energy your body needs to perform all
its vital functions.

In targeting the mitochondria, Poly-MVA seeks to help with repairing the mitochondrial, which
can help improve the production of energy.

You might be wondering: What’s this got to do with cancer?

Some research shows that its benefits as far as cancer goes are very similar to that of vitamin C IV therapy. Specifically Poly=MVA therapy may help target cancer cells with an anticancer effect
while at the same time potentially improving the effectiveness of existing cancer therapies you
may be taking, such as chemotherapy or radiation. It does this by protecting healthy cells and
even helping with repair (hence, mitochondrial repair).

Is Poly-MVA effective?

Is Poly-MVA effective?
While much more research is needed to conclusively say that Poly-MVA is effective, existing
research has produced promising results regarding Poly-MVA’s potential as an anticancer
treatment. Here are a few key findings from studies:

  • Protected against DNA damage from radiation. A study of cell lines for Dalton’s
Lymphoma ascites (a type of x), showed that daily Poly-MVA given for two weeks helped
protect DNA in blood cells from radiation damage.
  • Improved quality of life. A study of patients with non-small cell lung cancer and clinical
failure on existing treatment found that Poly-MVA help improve the patient’s overall
quality of life, highlighting this treatment’s potential as a supportive treatment as well.
  • Helped repair DNA damaged by radiation. Research showed that cells exposed toradiation (and subsequently, DNA damage, which commonly occurs with radiation) were
able to more effectively repair DNA damage when exposed to Poly-MVA.
  • Provides palliative support in end-stage cancer patients. A study of patients with
multiple myeloma found benefit from receiving Poly-MVA following failed treatment and
    poor prognosis.
  • Boosting the immune system. In certain formulations, Poly-MVA can help reduce the
numbers of free radicals in the body. While an important part of the immune system, too
many free radicals can cause damage. This damage can lead to cancer. By reducing
free radicals, Poly-MVA can help boost your immune system.

Is Poly-MVA safe?

Is Poly-MVA safe?
Poly-MVA formulations have been around for some time now. In fact, the combination of
ingredients that makes up Poly-MVA has been shown to be safe for nearly three decades. So in
general, it is safe, just like most other supplements. However, because everyone reacts
differently, some people may experience side effects.
